Daily Dose: Peter Mullen in TYRANNOSAUR

The directing debut of actor Paddy Considine (“In America,” “Dead Man’s Shoes,” and earlier this year “Submarine”) is “Tyrannosaur.” The movie won awards at Sundance and sports a mighty fine cast with Peter Mullen, Olivia Colman, and Eddie Marsan. The story involves Colman’s character looking for a way out of her abusive relationship with Marsan (who was so deliciously unhinged in “Happy Go Lucky”). Mullen plays Joseph, a violent loser who’s befriended by Hannah (Colman) who is involved with the equally violent James (Marsan). I’ve not seen the film, but I’m looking forward to it. Considine works from his own script and netted a directing award at Sundance this year.
