{"id":1758,"date":"2011-09-09T04:16:21","date_gmt":"2011-09-09T11:16:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/?p=1758"},"modified":"2011-09-09T04:16:21","modified_gmt":"2011-09-09T11:16:21","slug":"daily-dose-peter-mullen-in-tyrannosaur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/?p=1758","title":{"rendered":"Daily Dose: Peter Mullen in TYRANNOSAUR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The directing debut of actor Paddy Considine (&#8220;In America,&#8221; &#8220;Dead Man&#8217;s Shoes,&#8221; and earlier this year &#8220;Submarine&#8221;) is &#8220;Tyrannosaur.&#8221;  The movie won awards at Sundance and sports a mighty fine cast with Peter Mullen, Olivia Colman, and Eddie Marsan.  The story involves Colman&#8217;s character looking for a way out of her abusive relationship with Marsan (who was so deliciously unhinged in &#8220;Happy Go Lucky&#8221;).  Mullen plays Joseph, a violent loser who&#8217;s befriended by Hannah (Colman) who is involved with the equally violent James (Marsan).  I&#8217;ve not seen the film, but I&#8217;m looking forward to it.
