Hopefully, in the process, the movie will help to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis.  The title refers to the six foot rule, the recommended separation distance for patients suffering with CF.  I see this one on Wednesday, so, expect a review by Friday.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/theaftermath1-202x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7061\" width=\"101\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/theaftermath1-202x300.jpg 202w, https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/theaftermath1-400x593.jpg 400w, https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/theaftermath1-455x675.jpg 455w, https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/theaftermath1.jpg 674w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 101px) 100vw, 101px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Aftermath<\/strong><br><br>Counter-programming for the weekend takes the shape of \u201cThe Aftermath,\u201d a post World War II romantic drama starring Alexander Skarsg\u00e5rd, Keira Knightley, and Jason Clarke.  The story involves a British colonel (Clarke) and his wife (Knightley), who come to occupy a stately home in Germany.  But problems arise as the abode\u2019s prior owner (Skarsg\u00e5rd) is still hanging around.  High production values and a talented cast makes this one worth a look.  It\u2019s directed by James Kent, who is a major contributor to this year\u2019s hot Richard Gere\/BBC series \u201cMotherFatherSon.\u201d <br><br>   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>March 22<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/us1-189x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7062\" width=\"95\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/us1-189x300.jpg 189w, https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/us1-400x634.jpg 400w, https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/us1-426x675.jpg 426w, https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/us1.jpg 631w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 95px) 100vw, 95px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Us (Nightmare Trailer) <\/strong><br><br>In 2017, after bursting onto the scene as a writer\/director with the Oscar nominated \u201cGet Out,\u201d Jordan Peele pens another frightener about a family terrorized by themselves.  Well, from the scary trailers, those tracking and haunting the family appear to be some kind of perverse doppelg\u00e4ngers.  Cast is deep with \u201cThe Handmaid\u2019s Tale\u2019s\u201d Elisabeth Moss and Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong\u2019o.  Aside from \u201cCaptain Marvel,\u201d \u201cUs\u201d might be the most anticipated film of the month.<br><br>   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>March 29<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/dumbo1-203x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7059\" width=\"102\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/dumbo1-203x300.jpg 203w, https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/dumbo1-400x593.jpg 400w, https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/dumbo1-456x675.jpg 456w, https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/dumbo1.jpg 675w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 102px) 100vw, 102px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dumbo<\/strong><br><br>It\u2019s impossible to watch the \u201cDumbo\u201d trailers and not have something inside you melt.  Tim Burton\u2019s live-action version of the classic story about an elephant whose oversized ears enable him to fly looks pretty amazing.  Eva Green, Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, and Alan Arkin lead an impressive cast.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/beachbum1-203x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7057\" width=\"102\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/beachbum1-203x300.jpg 203w, https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/beachbum1-400x593.jpg 400w, https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/beachbum1-456x675.jpg 456w, https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/beachbum1.jpg 675w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 102px) 100vw, 102px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Beach Bum<\/strong><br><br>While this one will likely get lost in the early blockbuster season melee, \u201cThe Beach Bum\u201d could be a fun sleeper.  Starring Matthew McConaughey as a stoner named Moondog, the trailers promise plenty of zany antics and nutso situations.
