{"id":7642,"date":"2019-07-26T04:20:53","date_gmt":"2019-07-26T08:20:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/?p=7642"},"modified":"2019-07-26T04:23:14","modified_gmt":"2019-07-26T08:23:14","slug":"atlanta-film-critics-circle-announces-a-special-top-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/?p=7642","title":{"rendered":"Atlanta Film Critics Circle Announces a Special Top 10"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>On the eve of the release of director Quentin Tarantino\u2019s new epic Once Upon a Time In\u2026Hollywood, the critics group picks their favorite QT films. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"207\" height=\"207\" src=\"https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/AFFQT1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7653\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/AFFQT1.jpg 207w, https:\/\/dailyfilmfix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/AFFQT1-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 207px) 100vw, 207px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><br>July 25, 2019 &#8212; The Atlanta Film Critics Circle has announced its choices for the top 10 favorite films directed by multiple-Academy Award winner Quentin Tarantino ahead of the release of the hotly-anticipated opus Once Upon a Time In\u2026Hollywood starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Al Pacino, Kurt Russell and dozens of other actors featured in cameo roles.<br><br> Although Tarantino has only directed eight features prior to \u201cOnce Upon a Time,\u201d vote organizer and AFCC co-founder Michael Clark came up with a way to make it a traditional industry \u201cTop 10\u201d list. \u201cAlthough Tarantino considers his \u201cKill Bill Vol.1 and Vol. 2\u201d to be a single film, its two halves came out in different years with radically different tones,\u201d Clark said. He added \u201cby considering \u2018Vol. 1\u2019 and \u2018Vol. 2\u2019 separately and adding the Tarantino directed \u2018The Man from Hollywood\u2019 segment of the anthology film \u2018Four Rooms\u2019 into the mix we were able to make this a true Top 10.\u201d <br><br>\u201cIt\u2019s no wonder a critics group would want to celebrate Quentin Tarantino\u2019s unique output in this way.
