Filmmaker Jane Clark has shared with me her high-end short films over the years. The last Clark directed short I reviewed was the very special “Beyond Words.” “Meth Head,” starring Lukas Haas, is her first feature film, which is making festival rounds now. Clark is a filmmaker with a conscience. She often pursues material with a high degree of social merit tackling big issues.
Her latest project, “Crazy Bitches,” is a bit of a departure, but one that will no doubt be about something important while cloaked in the horror genre. Plus, it looks like it might be a whole lot of saucy fun!
Instead of raising funds through traditional channels, as she did with “Meth Head,” Clark has turned to you and the crowd source funding craze. The Kickstarter for “Crazy Bitches” is entering its final days and your help is needed to bring Clark’s latest vision to the screen.
