DFF readers probably know that in addition to being a film critic and an entertainment lawyer, I make movies too. My latest project is the documentary feature “Three Days at Foster.” The film is written and directed by my good friend and collaborator Keith Dunnavant, with whom I co-directed “Crashing the Party” several years ago.
This film is truly special. Keith’s take on the story of the integration of sports in Alabama is informative and inspiring. And I shot the film and acted as the chief editor with Joe Beamon (a computer expert who on his first feature did the assembly like a seasoned pro).
The film screens at the Sidewalk Film Festival in Birmingham on Sunday. Here’s where you can get tickets: http://sidewalkfilmfest2013.sched.org/event/9c8a6b4692e6c583d2a13efadb9db4d6#.UhdhBbwVZNc
