Back with his first film in 4 years, Quentin Tarantino unleashes “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.” Starring Bard Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio, the story is set in 1969 in what is called final years of Hollywood’s Golden Age. The cast not only features Tarantino fave Pitt, but Tim Roth and Kurt Russell. This time Al Pacino has joined the pack. And it will be bittersweet to see the late Luke Perry in what might be his final performance.
The trailer is very cool, with Pitt getting all the best lines. Expect this one in theaters on July 26.
The official synopsis is as follows:
Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore. The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.
